After working in human services for 17yr, I got in to sales starting with promoting the grand opening of a New Staples store. From there I worked with AT&T selling their new fiber optic TV services called Uverse in CT while commuting to NYC to sell energy. And now after working in the telesales center at Thermospas, I worked with a consulting firm selling advertisement space.

Is what you sell something that people want?

Had you ever asked yourself this question. Am I trying to sell something people don't want? This is a critical question especially in mlm since we all buy pre-packaged businesses.

While reading Entrepreneur yesterday, one statement hit me right in the nose. Don't try to sell what people don't want. It is better to sell what people are already buying and carving out a nich for yourself. I'm paraphrasing but you get the point.
