About Me:

I am the silent partner, supporting my wife with her business, and offering any insights I can as to how to help promote her business. Mostly, though, when she's in her selling zone, I just stay out of the way, hand her the bags, and make change.

Activities:

Our fun starts when the cruise ships come into the Port of Progreso, near where we live, and the tourists come down the seawall stroll like a wave. They've already seen a hundred other outlets by the time they get to ours, and we love to watch their eyes as they see that what we have is nothing like anything they've seen before, and by the time they come back the other way, they have to stop, because they know they've found something that is truly unique and of premium quality. When they see my wife crocheting, they can be sure that our claim of hand-made is true.

Interests:

We love to spend time with our children, visit and entertain friends, and enjoy a nice meal together when another day of work is finished.

I don't know if someone else has said this before, but not long ago, a tourist approached us after watching my wife sell several things to a group of people. She said to me, "You guys must be so happy because you sell so much!" and I replied without pausing to think about it, "No, we sell so much, because we're so happy." There's a big difference.
